VDPAM/SMEC 7480 – Swine Production Medicine

This unique experience offers students valuable insights into the swine industry, allowing them to develop and practice clinical and production management skills, gain hands-on experience in swine veterinary practice, and enhance their communication abilities. By collaborating with AMVC in Audubon, IA, and various industry stakeholders, students receive a comprehensive view of the pork industry and swine medicine.

    • Analyze post-mortem samples and learn the process of submitting diagnostic samples to a diagnostic laboratory.
